Meet Wassana

Wassana grew up in Udonthani, Thailand. She relocated to Australia in 2007, and was a full time mum until her kids started school.

In 2012, she completed her certificate III in Aged care at TAFE QLD. She worked as a personal care assistant for almost two years. Whilst working in aged care, she loved treating herself to massages and became fascinated with how massage could improve her physical and mental health.

Wassana became interested in the idea of becoming a massage therapist herself and in 2017 she went back to Thailand and enrolled on an intensive Thai massage course. For the past few years, she has been working in various massage clinics and spas in Port Douglas. Wassana loves her job and the more she learns, the more she loves it! In 2019 Wassana decided to  obtain her Australian qualifications and enrolled on the Certificate IV in Massage therapy with the Aminya College of Natural Therapies in Cairns. She loved the course so much that she decided to continue on with her studies and gained her Diploma of Remedial massage.

Being able to help people relax and feel better is the best reward for her. If you are experiencing pain, difficulty in sleeping, have sore muscles or are simply in need of relaxation, why not book in today for a treatment with Wassana?

  Feel better, live better.

Here at Cooktown Massage, we love helping people overcome pain and discomfort through massage therapy.
